- Most recent: Nov 13- Feb 14, contracted web designer at Holidaybreak, following set briefs to design and develop content (responsive web pages, html emails, pages for Facebook app). Working closely with creative, online marketing and brand teams.
- Other recent work includes converting Cheetham Hill Cricket Club into a responsive site. This is a local sports site I had previously designed and built with Wordpress.
2001-2009 Guardian Media Group Regional Digital
Part of the online team working on developing, redesigning and maintaining the front end of a range of sites. Also responsible for the online video output.
Sites:- Manchester Evening News - Leading regional newspaper. Involved in several redesigns and ongoing maintenance.
- MEN Regional newspaper sites - eg. Stockport Express and Rochdale Observer.
- Channel M - Local TV station. Produced video players, organised encoding, workflows and set up video CMS.
- City Life - Lifestyle and listings magazine. Produced cinema section, showing movie trailers.
- Manchester Online - Worked on transition of this local portal to the Manchester Evening News site.
- Scott & Partners Estate Agents - Designed and built an estate agents site.
1998-2001 FAST Web Media
Worked on the front end of a high traffic football site and several smaller sites. Initially part of a very small team (two of us) which grew as the company expanded. Also produced a video news player.
Sites:- Carling Net - Leading Premier League football site of it's day. Involved in several redesigns and ongoing maintenance.
- League Managers Association - Official site for the LMA. Involved in development of initial site.
